Assistant Manager Server Administrator

Annual CTC: 8 – 10 LPA (Inclusive of all benefits)

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager – Server Administrator shall assist in managing and maintaining IIIDEM's server infrastructure, user management, backups, system monitoring, and IT support services. The incumbent will support smooth operation of institutional servers, applications, and network services while ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.

Scope of Work

• Assist in administration of servers and IT infrastructure.

• Monitor server health, backups, and storage.

• Support user account management and access control.

• Coordinate routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Maintain server logs and technical documentation. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows/Linux servers.

• Monitor server performance and utilization.

• Perform scheduled backup and recovery activities.

• Support Active Directory and user account administration. • Install software updates and security patches.

• Troubleshoot server and operating system issues.

• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and maintenance.

• Maintain server inventory and infrastructure documentation.

• Provide technical support during institutional programmes and events.

Minimum Qualification

• B. Tech / B.E. (CS / IT) / MCA / M. Tech (CS / IT) in or equivalent from a recognized university.

Minimum Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Server Administration, System Administration, or IT Infrastructure Support.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux Servers.

• Understanding of server backup and restoration. \

• Familiarity with Active Directory and user management.

• Basic networking and server security knowledge.

• Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
