Assistant Manager - Service

A Sr. Service Coordinator/ Asst. Service Manager for air compressor systems manages service operations, schedules field technicians, and acts as the main link between customers and the technical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Scheduling and Dispatch: Coordinate and schedule service appointments, routine preventive maintenance (PM), installations, and emergency repair visits for industrial air compressors and vacuum systems.
• Team and Resource Management: Assign service technicians based on availability and skill; work with the parts department to ensure necessary components are in stock before jobs begin.
• Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for service updates, gathering customer requirements, and following up to ensure satisfaction.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, operations, and engineering teams to ensure smooth service delivery and expand service agreements.
• Workflow and Administration: Track work-in-progress (WIP) reports, process purchase orders, handle invoicing, and maintain detailed logs of all service activities

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in the air compressor or industrial machinery sector.
• Profile: Age 28+ preferred; mechanical/electrical engineering background is a plus.
• Skills: Strong communication, organization, and CRM/MS Office proficiency.
