Assistant Manager - Testing & Validation

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple product development projects from concept through completion, ensuring delivery in line with agreed scope, quality, cost and timelines.

• Gather and translate business, customer and technical requirements into robust design concepts and system integration solutions for the Aliaxis product portfolio.

• Develop new product and component designs that meet performance, durability, serviceability, quality, cost and manufacturability targets.

• Create, review and maintain 3D models, engineering drawings, specifications and Bills of Materials (BoM) using SolidWorks/Creo and AutoCAD, applying GD&T standards.

• Plan and execute product validation through Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R), testing, design reviews and closure of technical issues.

• Apply standard New Product Introduction processes and tools, including FMEA, APQP and PPAP, to ensure product and process readiness.

• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, Supply Chain and suppliers to achieve first-time-right product development and smooth industrialization.

• Manage technical supplier interactions, design inputs, deliverables, validation evidence and corrective actions as required.

• Drive Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE), design optimization and cost-reduction initiatives without compromising product performance or quality.

• Maintain complete project documentation and manage engineering change requests in accordance with the product development and change-control processes.

• Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to cross-functional teams, customers and suppliers across cultural boundaries.

• Promote innovation, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

• Travel as required to support project, supplier, manufacturing and product-validation activities.
