Assistant Manager, Treasury Settlement Operations

A Well Established Corporate Bank is looking for a Assistant Manager with solid working experience to join their Treasury Settlement team.

Your new role

• Handle daily treasury settlement activities accurately and efficiently, including trade confirmation, matching, payment processing, and accounting entries for Foreign Exchange (FX), Money Market, Fixed Income, and Derivatives transactions.
• Prepare SWIFT payment and settlement instructions and process securities settlements through Euroclear and Clearstream.
• Perform daily reconciliations of transactions, funding positions, and account balances, while supporting liquidity and cash management activities.
• Investigate and resolve pre-settlement and settlement exceptions, follow up on failed trades, and conduct post-settlement investigations.
• Process Fixed Income and Derivatives lifecycle events, including coupon payments, rate resets, exercises, rollovers, and maturities.
• Liaise with counterparties, brokers, custodians, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely settlement and resolution of transaction discrepancies.
• Prepare Hong Kong Trade Repository (HKTR) reports for OTC derivatives transactions and other regulatory reports as required.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), participate in system implementation projects, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and process improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

• 5-8 years of relevant working experience with good product knowledge and guidelines in Treasury Products (including FX/MM, Securities, Repo, OTC derivatives etc.)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound knowledge of SWIFT, RTGS, CMU, HKTR, Creation Online System and PC skills including MS Office and Chinese Word Processing.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua)
