A leading Nutraceutical Manufacturing Company is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Warehouse to manage warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, ERP transactions, and dispatch activities. The role requires strong leadership, inventory management expertise, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch activities.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock verification, cycle counting, reconciliation, and ERP updates.
• Maintain optimum stock levels and coordinate material flow with Production, Procurement, and Logistics teams.
• Implement and monitor FIFO/FEFO practices to ensure efficient inventory utilization.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation, including GRNs, stock transfers, delivery records, and inventory transactions.
• Ensure compliance with GMP requirements, warehouse SOPs, safety standards, and housekeeping practices.
• Supervise warehouse personnel, allocate responsibilities, and support staff training and development.
• Coordinate with transporters and vendors to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of materials.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, material shortages, damages, and related corrective actions.
• Monitor and optimize warehouse processes, equipment utilization, and operational costs.
• Prepare and submit warehouse performance, inventory, and operational reports to management.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management to support business operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations and inventory management, preferably in the Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or Manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, inventory transactions, and warehouse documentation.
• Sound understanding of GMP, warehouse SOPs, safety standards, and material handling practices.
• Proven ability to coordinate with Production, Procurement, Logistics, vendors, and transporters.
• Strong leadership, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to supervise teams, drive process improvements, and maintain operational efficiency.

• ERP/Warehouse Management System proficiency.

• GMP compliance and safety management.
• Team supervision and staff development.
