Assistant Manager The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in leading daily store operations, delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and creating a safe, organized, and efficient shopping environment. This role oversees store operations in the Store Manager's absence and helps ensure company standards and goals are consistently achieved.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and represent the store professionally.

• Greet and assist customers, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

• Maintain strong product knowledge and ensure timely, courteous communication.

• Support the day-to-day operation of the store, including opening and closing procedures.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment.

• Execute company policies, standard operating procedures, pricing updates, and cashiering functions.

• Partner with the Store Manager to achieve operational and sales goals.

• Assist with receiving, stocking, merchandising, inventory, and cycle counts.

• Maintain backstock, signage, promotional displays, and overall store presentation.

• Support merchandise resets and ensure company standards are met.

• Lead store operations in the Store Manager's absence.

• Train and support associates while fostering a positive work environment.

• Assist with scheduling, performance management, and associate development.

• Communicate opportunities to improve sales, merchandising, and operational efficiency.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Previous retail and/or management experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
