Assistant Manager/Dy. Manager/Manager - M&A

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a high-calibre M&A professional to support the evaluation and execution of strategic transactions. The role will work closely with internal business teams, finance, legal, tax and external advisors to drive transactions from evaluation through closure.

Key Responsibilities

• Support M&A and investment transactions across the deal lifecycle, including opportunity evaluation, due diligence, negotiations and closure.
• Develop, review and analyse financial models, valuation scenarios, projections and transaction economics.
• Analyse and review Term Sheets, LOIs, transaction structures and key commercial terms.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, Legal, Tax, Business and external advisors to ensure timely execution of transactions.
• Prepare presentations, investment papers and management / Board-level materials.
• Track transaction milestones, key action items, dependencies and deliverables across stakeholders.
• Assist in negotiations by providing relevant financial and commercial analysis.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of financial modelling, valuation and financial analysis.
• Ability to understand and interpret Term Sheets and transaction documentation.
• Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail with a structured and commercial approach to problem-solving.
• MBA in Finance or CFA or CA
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in M&A, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory or a similar role.
