Assistant Manufacturing Manager Hydrogenation

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all activities carried out comply with the requirements for quality, food safety, environment, occupational health and safety, and process safety.
• STOP Plant Operation in emergency conditions that potentially endanger safety, quality, or the environment.
• Execute and ensure all daily production plans are aligned with SnOP targets (Volume & CU), including control of raw materials, product quality, and product delivery based on the planned schedule.
• Monitor and control utility consumption (steam, electricity, water, chemicals) and maintain Hydrogenation process yield at or better than the established budget targets.
• Ensure all products meet required quality specifications and are free from contamination, and report any deviations to the Manufacturing Manager FA2 & Hydrogenation .
• Identify, report, and handle operational incidents and prepare investigation reports, mitigation plans, and necessary follow-up actions.
• Responsible for developing subordinate competencies through training, on work plans, job training, and conduct coaching and mentoring to achieve team competencies based on training matrix.
• Conduct routine evaluation of Hydrogenation operational performance and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, reduce losses, and enhance product quality.
• Coordinate with related departments (Maintenance, QC, Planning, SHE) to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth day-to-day production processes.
• Ensure compliance with QMS procedures and standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, HALAL, KOSHER, FSSC 22000, and GMP in all daily operational activities.
• Evaluate working performance for subordinate regularly, giving reward and punishment based on company regulations and develop career development path.
• Develop and review an environmental and safety impact analysis and create and maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment at all times.
• Make the right decisions on operational matters to avoid accidents, equipment damage, and lost production time.
• Prepare and manage operational budgets, ensuring CoC within the target, and implement cost-control measures. Lead the initiatives for yield optimization, losses reduction, reduce waste generation, products quality improvements and utility efficiency to enhance profitability.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering, or similar degree.
2. Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in manufacturing plant or Oleochemical. Good understanding of process engineering, quality control, utility management, maintenance management, and SHE standards
3. Fluent in English and communication skill.
4. Willing to be relocated and work from Sei Mangkei, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra.
5. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple function.
6. Disciplined, execution- and detail-oriented, and able to work in a dynamic operational environment  and good in Process Safety and have good Safety Awareness.
