Assistant Marketing Manager

About the role

CPS Marketing Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop your marketing expertise whilst supporting the delivery of strategic marketing initiatives across the organisation. As Assistant Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in executing marketing campaigns, managing marketing projects, and contributing to the development of marketing strategies that drive business growth and brand awareness. This position offers the chance to work alongside experienced marketing professionals and gain valuable exposure to all aspects of marketing management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email and traditional media
• Support the planning and coordination of marketing projects from conception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and inform marketing strategy
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create compelling marketing content and collateral
• Manage and optimise social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling and community engagement
• Monitor and analyse marketing campaign performance using relevant metrics and reporting tools
• Coordinate marketing events and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement
• Assist in the maintenance and update of marketing databases and customer relationship management systems
• Support the marketing manager in administrative tasks and day-to-day operations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, ideally in a management or supervisory capacity
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms and marketing automation tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and marketing analytics tools
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
• Preferred: Experience with graphic design software, video production or marketing automation platforms
