Duties

• Support the Centre Director in identifying student needs and opportunities and developing customized student learning plans
• Assist with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress
• Lead and coach team members to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Manage students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Assist the Centre Director in overseeing daily centre operations, including scheduling and student enrollment management
• Support instructors in delivering engaging and effective math lessons tailored to diverse learning styles
• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to reinforce key concepts and boost student confidence
• Help maintain a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning
• Monitor student progress, gather feedback, and communicate with parents or guardians as needed
• Assist with administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, resource organization, and program promotion
• Contribute to the development of new teaching materials and activities that enhance the curriculum

Skills

• Previous customer relationships & sales experience preferred
• Passion for math and working with students
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance diverse responsibilities
• Passionate about teaching and helping students succeed in mathematics
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and team members
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners of varying ages and skill levels
• Organized with good time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
• Flexible and proactive in supporting the Centre Director’s initiatives and classroom needs
• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics is highly desirable
• Demonstrates enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional growth

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
