About the role

Assistant Mechanical Engineer role involving structural and mechanical design for standalone automation projects under the guidance and mentorship of Senior Engineers, with responsibilities spanning drafting, technical documentation, and process validation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structural and mechanical design for standalone automation projects under the guidance and mentorship of Senior Engineers
• Assist the engineering team in creating precise 2D technical drawings and compiling accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) for production
• Organize, manage, and prepare comprehensive technical documentation, manuals, and specifications for new and existing equipment
• Support engineers in executing process validation, testing, and verification protocols during the research and development of new equipment and manufacturing workflows

About you

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Master's Degree (S2) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a closely related technical major
• Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply, or junior candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience
• Must possess hands on proficiency in engineering design software, specifically SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD
• Strong logical thinking, analytical capability, and the ability to summarize complex mechanical issues effectively
• Maintain a positive, self driven attitude with a strong eagerness to learn and adapt within a fast-paced equipment manufacturing environment
• Communicate technical concepts clearly with proficiency in spoken and written English
• Deliver highly accurate technical drawings and well-structured documentation that meet industry standards
• Strong foundational knowledge and practical skills in CNC (Computer Numerical Control), CAD, and CAM are highly preferred
• Previous internship, project, or laboratory experience specifically within equipment manufacturing or industrial automation will be considered a significant plus
• Excellent written and spoken in English
