About the role
An Assistant Merchandiser role supporting wholesale and export operations in a B2B trading and sourcing company specializing in consumer products. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, high-accuracy data entry, and strong organizational skills in a structured corporate environment focused on precision and data integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Handle high-accuracy data entry and upkeep of product specifications, industrial costings, factory matrices, and shipment statuses in master system templates
- Cross-check and verify factory quotations, production sample logs, and bulk shipping documents to ensure zero clerical errors
- Maintain and monitor bulk Purchase Orders (POs), tracking manufacturing schedules closely to report any vendor discrepancies
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to compile daily shipment tracking charts, map out order quantities, and manage internal supply chain spreadsheets
- Coordinate sample delivery from factories and perform routine quality/specification checks alongside the merchandising team
About you
- DSE / Form 5 graduate or above
- 0–2 years of experience in B2B trading, sourcing, manufacturing, procurement, or shipping administration (fresh graduates welcome if displaying strong aptitude for numbers and commercial systems)
- Exceptional data entry accuracy with an eye for spotting typos, mismatched factory item codes, or bulk pricing discrepancies
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, comfortable navigating built-in functions like VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables to cross-check large batches of vendor data
- Positive attitude, highly organized, and capable of working responsibly under tight export and shipment deadlines
- Good written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
