Assistant Merchandiser - Fabric

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant to support our team across end-to-end fabric development, sourcing, and merchandising. Fresh graduates and entry-level candidates with a passion for textiles and fashion are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabric Sourcing & Development Support:

  • Assist in sourcing fabric swatches and raw materials based on the Design team's seasonal concepts.
  • Help prepare quotation requests and follow up on price negotiations with suppliers.
  • Organize and maintain the fabric library, swatch cards, and material databases.

• Sample & Order Follow-up:

  • Track sample progress with garment factories and fabric mills to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Follow up on lab dip approvals, strike-offs, and fabric lab test reports.
  • Assist the team with purchase order (PO) preparation, data entry, and bulk delivery status updates.

• Team & Administrative Support:

  • Liaise with vendors and internal teams (Design, QA, Merchandising) on daily operational matters.
  • Handle general administrative duties and ad-hoc support as required.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree holder (Textile, Fashion, Clothing, or related discipline is an advantage; Fresh graduates are welcome).

• Experience:

  • Around 1 year of relevant experience in garment/fabric merchandising is preferred.
  • Candidates with internship or part-time experience in fashion/garment/fabric merchandising will also be considered.

• Knowledge: Basic understanding of fabric types and garment construction; eager to learn lab testing and production workflows.

• Skills: Proficient in MS Word and Excel; detail-minded, well-organized, and a strong team player.

• Languages: Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
