What they need
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cutting, metallurgical preparation and microstructure/corrosion assessment of metallographic specimens;
- Preparation of etchants and etching of metallographic specimens;
- Perform RCA/troubleshooting on equipment or erratic test results;
- Ensure maintenance, including calibration of testing and measuring equipment is up-to-date and in proper order;
- General laboratory housekeeping;
- Perform measurement uncertainty, method validation, test method assessment, test method validation etc. as and when required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma/Degree in Material Science or any related fields;
- Willing to perform rotating shifts;
- Experience in aerospace field is a plus;
- Candidates with no experience are welcomed to apply.
