Assistant MS Volleyball Coach

Support & assist the head coach in training athletes, planning practices & directing game strategies to build a safe, skilled & sportsmanlike team. Oversee matches, manage equipment & guide player growth on & off the court.

Core Responsibilities & Skills

• Practice Planning: Design & run drills for passing, setting, spiking & serving.
• Game Management: Set game lineups, call timeouts & direct match strategy.
• Player Development: Teach rules, boost athletic skills & encourage good sportsmanship.
• Team Operations: Manage gear inventory, organize travel & keep safety rules.
• Communication: Talk with players, parents & school or club leaders.
• Knowledge: Understanding of volleyball rules, tactics & physical training.
• Soft Skills: Leadership skills, patience & clear communication.
