Assistant Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine administration and support of enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks
• Assist in maintaining network connectivity between data centers, campus networks, and cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, and GCP)
• Perform routine network configuration, health checks, and troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to ensure network availability and performance
• Create and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, inventory records, operations procedures and service records
• Handle IT helpdesk requests and provide End User Computing (EUC) support, including desktop/laptop hardware, Microsoft Office applications, mobile devices, network connectivity and network-related issues
• Support IT asset inventory management, asset tracking, security controls, and incident support
• Assist in workstation setup, software installation, equipment relocation, and site preparation
• Participate in internal and external IT infrastructure projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• Cisco CCNA certification is preferred
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in network support or network administration. Fresh graduates with CCNA certification are welcome to apply
• Knowledge of enterprise networking technologies, including Routing, Switching, Firewall, VPN, and WLAN (e.g., Cisco, Huawei, H3C, Fortinet, Aruba)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office applications and Windows desktop troubleshooting
• Familiarity with PCs, laptops, mobile devices and other end-user computing equipment
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team;
• Good spoken and written English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage
