Assistant Nurse Manager – Stepdown (Nights)

Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing statistical data.

Responsibilities include:

• Hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development for staff.
• Participating in staffing and budget development, ensuring departmental goals are met.
• Providing patient care aligned with planned interventions, documenting appropriately, and creating collaborative care plans.
• Managing staff productivity, overseeing payroll, staffing needs, and staff communication.
• Conducting performance reviews, issuing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational requirements: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree, RN license; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 2-5 years for minimum role, 5-10 years for preferred, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Skills in personnel management, patient care, and operational oversight.
