Assistant Ocean Procurement Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Rate & Contract Management: Ensure valid and competitive rates with carriers,
• and circulate rate details within the company network
• RFQ Execution: Support Trade Manager to complete Ocean RFQs by o􀆯ering
• competitive pricing and relevant structural details to fulfil bidding requirements
• Daily Queries Follow-up: Handle daily rate queries, resolve space constraints and
• address operational disputes with ocean carriers
• Business Award Management: Prepare contract details of sell & buy rates and
• carrier allocation after finalizing rates and space allocation with ocean carriers upon
• business awards
• Customer Performance Tracking: Support Trade Manager to monitor key account
• volume commitment by lifting performance reports
• Carrier Performance Management: Work with Trade Manager to prepare meeting
• materials for carrier review meetings

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree holder in Logistics, Supply Chain or related disciplines
• At least 5 years working experience in international freight forwarding companies,
• preferably on ocean procurement or pricing
• Experience on Intra-Asia, Asia-ISC, Asia-ME/RS, Asia-Africa, TPEB or EUWB is a plus
• Candidates with less solid and relevant experience will be considered as O􀆯icer
• Good command on written and spoken both English and Chinese (Cantonese &
• Mandarin)
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
