Assistant Operations Manager 副营运经理

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Operations Manager to oversee the overall operations of our food trading and distribution business. The Operations Manager will oversee Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse and Logistics, while working closely with HR on people management, staff discipline, performance and workplace culture. The role requires strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills to ensure the Company's operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse and Logistics.
• Ensure smooth coordination between departments, from order processing to delivery and after-sales service.
• Monitor operational performance, efficiency and costs.
• Work closely with HR on manpower planning, employee performance, attendance and disciplinary matters.
• Lead and guide department heads and employees to achieve operational objectives.
• Build a positive, disciplined, cooperative and accountable working culture.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve SOPs, workflows and internal controls.
• Identify operational weaknesses and implement practical improvements.
• Maintain strong communication between Management and different departments and handle internal and external communication professionally with customers, suppliers and business partners.
• Take charge of urgent operational issues and unexpected situations, including delivery disruptions, manpower shortages, stock discrepancies, customer issues, and other operational emergencies.
• Ensure proper controls over inventory, deliveries, returns and operational transactions.

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field.
• Relevant experience in an Operations Manager or similar management role, preferably in FMCG, food trading, distribution or a related industry.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across different levels and departments.
• Strong crisis management, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Hands-on, responsible and able to manage multiple departments and priorities.
• Experience in developing and implementing SOPs and operational controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCount will be an added advantage.
• High level of integrity, accountability and attention to detail.
