Job summary

To support the Operations Manager in coordinating and supervising freight forwarding, haulage, fleet deployment, container movement, customer service, and daily operational activities.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and coordinating daily freight forwarding and haulage operations.
• Monitor truck, container, and cargo movement from pickup to delivery.
• Coordinate drivers, dispatch officers, fleet personnel, and operational staff.
• Follow up on shipping lines, terminals, ports, documentation, and customer requirements.
• Monitor job orders and ensure timely completion of deliveries.
• Supervise operational staff and ensure compliance with Company policies and SOPs.
• Provide customers with updates and resolve operational issues and complaints.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Monitor operational expenses and support cost-control initiatives.
• Ensure proper documentation, safety compliance, and incident reporting.
• Identify operational challenges and recommend improvements to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an OND qualification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
