Job Description

• Manage a department to achieve the company goals and business objectives
• Generate Manufacturing KPI Reports and continuous improvement plan
• Support RFQ for machining items to establish component costs for material, setup and machining costs
• Plan production order routing process and cycle time for new machining parts
• Review daily production output and machine utilization
• To control the flow of work to meet customer deadlines, from plan, checking and managing the product specification making adjustment and keeping clients informed
• Technical support for daily manufacturing processes including design jig & fixtures
• To motivate and give direction to a small team developing and maintaining quality-based production, whilst monitoring Individual, team and machine performance
• Supervising all aspects of production and providing additional resources whenever necessary
• To oversee the work of staff, taking responsibility for the finished product by monitoring and maintaining quality
• Liaising with customers to discuss changes to specifications and troubleshooting potential problems and providing solutions in advance
• Allocating work for the supervisors and overseeing the work of the production department
• To ensure all production equipment is maintained and serviced appropriately
• To provide supportive management to coach, develop and motivate their team
• Assign employees to jobs based on the skill required, of the job and manages progress related to quality, efficiency, productivity and on-time completion
• Organizes work areas in a neat and orderly fashion to obtain maximum efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, quality and on-time delivery
• Work with all inter-related departments to resolve design, material and other problems through completion of assigned projects
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of workshop, department or work crews
• Ensure employees in the manufacturing department follow procedures and comply with safety regulations
• Carry out other duties as assigned by superior

Job Requirements

• Preferably 10 years’ experience in metal machinery
• Strong in reading and interpreting technical drawings and knowledge in GD&T
• Understanding of tooling criteria, machining applications and processing documentation
• Knowledge and understand raw material specifications
• In depth knowledge of machining processes and CNC & Master CAM Programming
• Understands further secondary processes such as Welding, EDM, Wire-cut surface treatment and powder coating
• Able to work independently, self-motivated, highly resourceful and organized
• Able to communicate well with all levels
• Understandings read and write in English
• Strong in MS Office (MS Excell, MS Word)
• Diploma, Technical high school (SMK Mesin Produksi) or relevant
