Assistant Operations Manager

A manufacturer in the Salt Lake City is hiring an Assistant Operations Manager. You're the connection between purchasing, production, and sales, and you report to senior leadership.

The offer

• $60,000 to $75,000 depending on experience + additional yearly bonus potential
• Full benefits and PTO
• Monday through Friday, day shift
• In person

The work

• Keep orders moving from purchase order to ship date
• Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and receiving
• Follow up with vendors on materials and lead times
• Track open work orders and flag delays before they reach a customer
• Coordinate priorities across departments

Required

• 2 to 5 years in operations, production, purchasing, or warehouse work
• Strong Excel and Word
• Organized, and steady when priorities change
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Nice to have

• Manufacturing background
• QuickBooks
• Inventory or purchasing experience
• ERP or MRP systems
• Team lead or supervisor experience
