Assistant Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Operations Manager to lead our operations in the any Area, which includes the key locations of Uluwatu Area, Canggu Area, Ubud Area. As the possition, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance and management of multiple properties and facilities, ensuring the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction. This full-time role is based in Badung, Bali and offers opportunities for career development within our growing organization.

1. Position Purpose

The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in managing, coordinating, and monitoring daily operational activities to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality villa operations on assigned area, The position supports all operational departments in achieving company standards, guest satisfaction, and operational targets

What you'll be doing

• Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing all daily operational activities.
• Coordinate daily operations to Area manager.
• Assist the Operations Manager in developing and implementing operational improvements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports as required.
• Act as the Operations Manager's representative when the Operations Manager is unavailable, within the assigned authority.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of Area Managers to ensure operational targets and standards are consistently achieved.
• Ensure consistent implementation of operational standards and SOPs across all assigned areas.
• Support the resolution of operational issues that exceed the authority of the Area Managers.
• Develop and strengthen the leadership capabilities of Area Managers through regular coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• Monitor overall manpower allocation and operational efficiency across all assigned areas.
• Act as the escalation point for operational issues that require a higher level of authority or decision-making.
• Provide regular reports and operational visibility to the Operations Manager regarding the overall condition, risks, challenges, and progress of the Canggu area.
• Ensure that each Area Managers demonstrates strong ownership, accountability, and responsibility for their respective areas.
• Identify operational gaps and work with Area Managers to implement appropriate corrective actions and improvements.
• Conduct regular performance reviews with Area Managers to monitor achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between Area Managers and other operational departments.
• Proactively identify potential operational risks and escalate critical matters to the Operations Manager in a timely manner.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar in this possition, Manager role within the retail or hospitality industry
2. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple properties or facilities and driving operational excellence
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams
5. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to navigate the local business landscape
6. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, or a related field
