Resilient Protection Services is a veteran-owned private security company headquartered in Tampa, FL, and licensed in Florida, Texas, and Georgia. We provide professional, customer-focused security for corporate, retail, and hospitality clients. We are growing and hiring an Assistant Operations Manager to help lead our Tampa Bay operations.

About the Role

The Assistant Operations Manager supports the Director of Operations in running day-to-day field operations. You will keep posts covered, officers supported, and clients confident in our service. This is a hands-on leadership role that splits time between the office and our client sites across the Tampa Bay area.

Pay

• $45,000 per year, salaried, full-time
• Paid weekly every Friday

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain officer schedules that keep every post covered while controlling overtime
• Handle call-offs and coverage gaps quickly, including filling open shifts
• Conduct site visits, post inspections, and officer check-ins
• Onboard and train new officers on company policies, Post Orders, and site procedures
• Review incident and daily activity reports for accuracy and follow up on issues
• Review timecards and support weekly payroll preparation
• Track officer licensing, certifications, and expiration dates for compliance
• Serve as a point of contact for client site managers and respond to service requests
• Support recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of security officers
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours operational issues

Requirements

• Must live in the Tampa Bay area
• Active Florida Class "D" Security Officer License
• 2+ years of security experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory, field supervisor, or site lead role
• Experience with officer scheduling and coverage management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable with computers, email, and mobile scheduling and reporting apps
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to sites across Tampa Bay
• Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as operations require
• Must pass a criminal background check and employment and reference verification

Preferred

• Active Florida Class "G" Statewide Firearm License
• Military or law enforcement background
• Experience in hospitality, retail, or event security
• Experience with security workforce management or payroll software
