About the opportunity:

You’ll be at the centre of what keeps our retail assets running - coordinating contractors, overseeing centre works, managing compliance and responding to operational issues as they arise. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you’ll help create safe, efficient and well maintained environments for retailers and customers, while protecting asset performance and contributing to the long-term value Charter Hall delivers for its investors and capital partners

How you’ll make an impact:

• Support seamless centre operations by coordinating contractors, completing inspections and assisting with day to day operational requirements.
• Coordinate tenancy and capital works by acting as a key centre contact and keeping the Operations Manager updated on progress.
• Help maintain safe and compliant centres by supporting essential services, WHS requirements, risk inspections and regulatory obligations.
• Contribute to financial planning by tracking operational and capital expenditure, raising purchase orders and assisting with budgets and forecasts.
• Enhance the centre experience by responding to retailer and customer needs and supporting operational and sustainability initiatives.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Future focused capabilities including self awareness, resilience, agility and generosity.
• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills, initiative and an ability to prioritise.
• 1+ years’ experience in property operations including exposure to new product analysis, statutory reporting.
• Sound technical building operations legislative and management skills.
• Sound management reporting capability.
• Sound safety health and environmental management capabilities.
• Ambitious with high level of energy and commitment.
• Communicates courteously and proactively, learns customers short and long-term needs, sees issues from customers perspective
