Assistant Operations Manager (Logistics)

Location: Taman Eko Perniagaan, Johor Bahru
(Company will relocate to Kulai, near JPO)

Basic Salary: RM4,500 – RM6,000 + Variable Bonus
Working Days: Monday – Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily warehouse, logistics, distribution and transportation operations.
• Coordinate inbound, outbound, storage, inventory and delivery activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor operational performance, productivity, inventory accuracy and delivery KPIs.
• Coordinate transportation schedules, fleet activities and third-party transport providers.
• Liaise with customers, vendors and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
• Supervise drivers, contractors and operations staff, including manpower planning and work allocation.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and operational procedures.
• Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and safety documentation.
• Support customer service levels and ensure agreed SLAs are achieved.
• Prepare operational reports and support cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
• Travel when required for site visits, audits and operational support within Malaysia, Singapore and other parts of Asia.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, transportation or supply chain operations.

• Experience supervising operational teams will be an advantage.

• Good knowledge of warehouse, transportation and safety operations.

• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to travel when required
