Assistant Operations Support Manager (AML Team) (Contract) [Ref: AOSM-CM]

Responsibilities:

• Perform customer due diligence review on client onboarding, periodic review and trigger event to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements;
• Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers to obtain necessary customer information, clarify due diligence requirements, and address any CDD-related queries;
• Perform in-depth investigations and enhance due diligence on high-risk customers, such as politically exposed persons (PEPs) and customers from high-risk jurisdictions;
• Investigate and resolve any suspicious activities or red flags identified during customer due diligence;
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer due diligence activities for audit trail purpose.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration or Operations Management or related disciplines;
• At least 3 years of experience in banking, preferably in branch operations or sales activities planning;
• Solid knowledge in bank retail business and local regulatory requirements;
• Independent, flexible, analytical with good problem-solving ability;
• Excellent communication skill with strong risk awareness;
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua.
