- Creating and attaching foam padding and straps for comfort and fit
- Working with materials including leather, foam, and thermoplastics
- Operating industrial sewing machines and finishing tools
Additional Responsibilities:
- Interpreting technical instructions and clinical information provided by our orthotists
- Working to established procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing deadlines
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Supporting production targets with a motivated, team-oriented approach
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals with a practical, creative background - whether from design, crafts, or hands-on technical roles. Ideal candidates will be:
- Practical and enjoy working with their hands
- Comfortable using both hand tools and powered machinery
- Creative, detail-focused, and deadline-driven
- Strong communicators (verbal and written) with good numeracy skills
- Physically fit, with the ability to manage manual lifting
- Proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Eager to learn, with a positive “can-do” attitude
- Capable of high-volume production without compromising on quality
Desirable (but not essential):
- A background in 3D Design & Craft, Product Design, or a similar discipline
- Previous experience in orthotics or a related healthcare manufacturing field
