Assistant Packer/Cashier

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Packer/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for small business and confectionary arts. We are looking for someone who brings strong organizational skills, great attention to detail, and is driven to create high-quality products. This role is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contribute to the success of our store, and support a 3rd generation family-owned business. This temporary role has the potential to lead to a permanent position.

Responsibilities

-Support the Lead Packer in maintaining stock of all boxed candy

-Accurately track inventory of our pre-packaged candy and molded chocolates

-Assist in fulfillment of large/corporate orders

-Keep track of packing materials and order as needed

-Provide quality control for products and ensure that stock is up-to-date

-Assist with candy production as needed

-Support the store staff 1 day a week (Friday or Saturday) and during business surges

-Additional duties as assigned

Pay: $17.13 per hour
