Assistant Parts

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in daily parts department operations and administration.

2. Receive, check, label and store spare parts according to company procedures.

3. Prepare and issue parts for workshop technicians and service jobs.

4. Assist with parts picking, packing and arranging deliveries to customers.

5. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.

6. Assist with stock receiving, stock transfers and stock adjustments.

7. Monitor parts availability and inform the operation executive of low-stock or urgent items.

8. Assist in preparing quotations, purchase requests, purchase orders and invoices when required.

9. Check part numbers, descriptions and quantities before issuing or ordering parts.

10. Coordinate with suppliers, workshop and customers regarding parts availability and delivery status.

11. Keep the parts warehouse clean, organized and properly labeled.

12. Assist with warranty parts handling, returns and defective parts.

13. Ensure proper documentation for all parts movements.

14. Follow company SOP, safety requirements and warehouse procedures.

15. Obtain or possess a forklift licence is an added advantage or operate forklift as needed.

Requirements:

1. Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical, Heavy Equipment or related field.

2. Experience in automotive or heavy equipment spare parts is an advantage.

3. Basic knowledge of heavy equipment parts and components is preferred.

4. Able to use Microsoft Excel, Word and basic inventory systems.

5. Good communication and coordination skills.

6. Responsible, organized and willing to learn.

7. Able to work in a warehouse/workshop environment.

8. Possess a valid driving licence is an advantage.
