Assistant Parts Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Assistant Parts Manager to lead and oversee the complete parts and inventories in the workshop / aftersales operations of our ICE and Electric Vehicle (EV) automotive company. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of ICE and EV systems, end-to-end workshop processes, regulatory compliance and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

·       Develop and maintain business relationships with third-party stock lists, fleet operators, and trade customers.

·       Identify opportunities to sell excess, slow-moving, and non-critical inventory to external stock lists and aftermarket channels.

·       Manage wholesale parts accounts and support parts sales revenue growth.

·       Negotiate pricing, stock clearance programmes, and inventory movement initiatives with external business partners.

·       Collaborate with the aftersales team to maximise parts sales opportunities and improve inventory turnover.

·       Monitor customer buying trends and market demand to support parts forecasting and stocking strategies.

·       Drive inventory optimisation initiatives to minimise obsolete stock while generating additional revenue opportunities.

·       Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes.

·       Support ERP and inventory system enhancements.

·       Participate in aftersales business development initiatives.

·       Recommend process improvements to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of automotive parts experience.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of parts inventory procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Mandatory fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
