• As an Assistant in Patient Care within the Inpatient Department (IPD), you will provide crucial support in delivering high-quality healthcare services to hospitalized patients
• Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals, your responsibilities will involve assisting with patient care activities, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment, and facilitating effective communication

Responsibilities:

• Patient Assistance:Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, as needed
• Provide support to patients in managing their personal needs and promoting a sense of comfort
• Vital Signs Monitoring:Perform routine measurements of vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
• Report any abnormal findings to the nursing staff promptly
• Patient Interaction:Engage with patients in a compassionate and empathetic manner
• Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, addressing non-clinical concerns
• Patient Safety:Ensure a safe environment for patients by assisting with fall prevention measures and maintaining a clutter-free space
• Report any safety concerns or incidents to the nursing staff
• Communication and Documentation:Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Document patient care activities and observations accurately in the medical records
• Support for Nursing Staff:Assist registered nurses in various tasks, including setting up medical equipment and transporting patients
• Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
• Comfort Measures:Provide comfort measures to patients, such as changing bed linens, offering water, and adjusting room temperature
• Attend to patient requests and communicate needs to appropriate healthcare personnel
• Infection Control:Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sanitary patient care environment
