Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the daily operations of the personal training department, ensuring smooth service delivery and client satisfaction
• Support personal trainers in creating customized workout plans based on biomechanics, physiology, body mechanics, and individual client needs
• Lead motivational coaching sessions that empower clients to stay committed and achieve measurable results
• Ensure all training sessions adhere to safety protocols, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and manual handling procedures
• Promote fitness sales by engaging with members, understanding their goals, and recommending suitable training packages or programs
• Oversee group fitness classes and physical education sessions to enhance overall member engagement and experience
• Maintain comprehensive records of client progress, safety incidents, and departmental reports to ensure compliance with liability insurance requirements

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sports coaching, personal training, or fitness instruction with a strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and program design
• Demonstrated ability to develop personalized workout plans tailored to individual goals and physical capabilities
• Knowledge of physiology, nutrition, body mechanics, and health club operations
• Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and manual handling are required
• Experience teaching physical education or group fitness classes is highly desirable
• Excellent client communication skills with a focus on building rapport and motivating diverse populations
• Strong sales skills with a track record of promoting fitness services effectively within a health club environment
• Ability to lift heavy weights safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
• Prior experience working in the fitness industry or health club setting is preferred
• Valid liability insurance coverage for professional activities

Pay: $26.09 - $31.42 per hour
