Assistant Pharmacist

Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused and responsible Assistant Pharmacist with 2–3 years of experience in pharmacy or medical store counter sales. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, handling prescriptions, dispensing medicines accurately, and supporting smooth day-to-day pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle counter sales and assist customers with their medicine requirements.
• Read and understand prescriptions accurately before dispensing medicines.
• Dispense medicines as per prescriptions and provide basic information regarding dosage, usage, and precautions.
• Maintain proper stock of medicines and monitor inventory levels.
• Handle billing and maintain accurate sales and transaction records.
• Ensure medicines are stored properly and check expiry dates regularly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly pharmacy counter.
• Coordinate with pharmacists and other staff for smooth daily operations.
• Address customer queries professionally and provide appropriate assistance.

Key Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in counter sales at a pharmacy or medical store.
• Good knowledge of medicines, their uses, dosages, and common side effects.
• Ability to read and understand prescriptions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Familiarity with pharmacy billing software will be an added advantage.
• Customer-focused attitude and ability to work responsibly in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
