Assistant Pharmacy - Veterinary Industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in dispensing veterinary medications accurately and safely.

• Prepare and label medications according to prescriptions and guidelines.

• Manage inventory: stock checking, monitoring expiry dates, and assisting in ordering supplies.

• Handle incoming orders and deliveries and ensuring proper storage.

• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy areas.

• Provide product information to veterinary staff or clients, under pharmacist supervision.

• Assist in compliance with regulatory and safety standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Qualifications & Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacy assistant in human or veterinary pharmacy.
• Knowledge of veterinary drugs and their handling is a plus.
• Familiarity with pharmacy operations, stock management, and basic dispensing procedures.

Skills & Competencies:

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications.
• Strong organizational skills for managing inventory and documentation.
• Good communication skills for interaction with veterinary staff and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
