ASSISTANT PLANNER

Job responsibilities:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customers demand and requirements and monitor progress against planned schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans. Issue QC cards and generate MR.
• Plan and monitor material requirements for raw material and packaging needs, ensure material availability to support production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist maintaining optimal stock levels and requests/follow-up on replenishment activities with Purchasing.
• Prepare materials for R&D sample requirement and support new product trials and sample activities.
• Track daily production output and work in progress status. Identify scheduling gaps, capacity constraints, or material shortages and escalate issues when necessary. Ensure timely completion of products for customer delivery.
• Maintain and update production planning records and databases. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on production performance, inventory, and raw material usage.
• Analyze production data and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.

• Fresh graduates with strong interest in production planning and materials management/Junior Planner with 1-2years of relevant experience will be an added advantage.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
