Assistant Planner (Electronics Manufacturing)

• Basic salary up $4000 + VB

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform forecast planning and support production demand requirements.
• Plan and schedule production orders according to customer demand, production capacity, and available resources.
• Coordinate with Project Leaders, Production Planners, and Production Supervisors to prioritize work according to delivery schedules.
• Manage material and production planning, including material requisition and BOM maintenance.
• Support engineering/design change implementation and ensure smooth production transition.
• Confirm customer orders based on material availability and production capability.
• Coordinate with purchasing teams to monitor material delivery and prevent production disruption.
• Monitor material availability to ensure continuous production operations.
• Prepare periodic reports including Excess & Obsolete (E&O) and inventory-related analysis.
• Ensure timely closure of production orders for invoicing purposes.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and data analysis to support management decision-making.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in production planning, material planning, or supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with production scheduling, material availability, and inventory control.
• Experience with BOM, MRP, ERP systems, and production order management is an added advantage.
• Strong coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
• Good analytical skills with attention to details.
