As a Assistant Planning and Development Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Support the planning, specification, and procurement of medical and non-medical equipment, as well as furniture, to meet project and operational requirements.
• Coordinate and facilitate user workgroups by organising regular meetings, engaging stakeholders, reviewing project milestones, and monitoring performance indicators and work plans.
• Collaborate with user departments, consultants, and key stakeholders to develop comprehensive equipment and furniture specifications for tender documentation.
• Evaluate tender submissions for technical compliance and provide recommendations on the selection of medical equipment, non-medical equipment, furniture, and related services to support procurement decisions.
• Support tender evaluation committees throughout the procurement process by providing technical expertise, assessment, and documentation.
• Assist in project budget planning, monitoring, and cost control to ensure equipment and furniture procurement activities remain within approved budgets.
• Serve as the primary liaison between user departments, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure operational workflows, design requirements, interdependencies, and project updates are effectively communicated, documented, and incorporated into planning and procurement activities.
• Stay informed of emerging healthcare planning trends, industry best practices, and regulatory developments while supporting the broader campus planning team in achieving successful hospital development outcomes.

Requirements:

• Degree in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably with project management and procurement experience.
• Preferably healthcare background.
