Assistant Plant Controller

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill an Assistant Controller position for a growing manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, 5+ years of accounting and analysis experience and strong Excel skills. Position Overview

The Assistant Controller will directly support the Controller with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, month-end closing and operational analysis. This position partners with leadership to provide financial insights, improve business performance, and support key decision-making initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare forecasts, annual budgets, and financial projections.
• Produce monthly financial reports, KPI dashboards, and variance analyses.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Analyze inventory, reserves, and financial risks.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls.
• Manage fixed assets and support lease accounting compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational and financial performance.
• Support ad hoc reporting and special projects.

Qualifications Desired

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting and financial analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Manufacturing experience.
• ERP system experience.
• CMA, CPA, FPAC, or similar professional certification
