Assistant Plant Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven Assistant Plant Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our ice production plant. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring efficient plant operations, maintaining production quality, and supporting the continuous supply of ice for our production and distribution activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations and ensure production targets are achieved.
• Manage production schedules and workflow to maintain consistent ice output.
• Monitor, inspect, and coordinate maintenance of plant equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Supervise, train, and motivate plant personnel while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
• Coordinate with the General Manager, Plant Supervisor, and other departments to resolve operational issues promptly.
• Review production orders and processing schedules, making critical workflow decisions when necessary.
• Analyze production data and prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and workplace safety regulations.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in any related field is an advantage.
• Preferably with supervisory experience in a manufacturing, production, food processing, or logistics environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of plant operations, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control, productivity, and inventory management.
• Ability to work under pressure and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to work on-site in Apalit, Pampanga.
