The Family Enrichment Center at the JCC of Greater Albuquerque is seeking a dedicated Assistant Pre-K Teacher to support our mission of fostering growth, curiosity, and joy in every child.

Your Daily Impact:

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children to explore and learn
• Support the health and safety of all children in your care
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Participate in staff meetings, family events, and community-building activities
• Communicate effectively with families and team members
• Observe children’s development, help set learning goals, and ensure curriculum supports growth
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom and shared spaces

What You’ll Bring:

Education & Training:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of the 45-Hour Entry Level Course and 6-Hour Inclusion Class (or equivalent)
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Commitment to completing 24 hours of professional development annually

Team Spirit:

• Flexibility and openness to feedback and constructive guidance

Knowledge & Compliance:

• Familiarity with NM State Regulations and the Star Rating System
• Ability to implement standards in a classroom setting
