Duties

• Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for toddlers
• Support classroom management by supervising children during play, meals, nap times, and transitions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment aligned with health and safety standards
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behaviors, and daily experiences
• Support lead teachers with diapering, feeding, and basic childcare routines following health guidelines
• Help facilitate inclusive learning experiences tailored to children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education support
• Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care

Skills

• Strong understanding of child development instruction and early childhood education principles
• Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings; familiarity with classroom experience is preferred
• Knowledge of pediatric first aid and CPR to respond confidently to emergencies
• Ability to effectively supervise children while demonstrating excellent caregiving skills
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration
• Proficiency in behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and social skills

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
