Assistant Product Technologist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Fit & Technical Development

• Attend product fit sessions and provide clear technical and quality feedback to ensure products meet agreed specifications and standards.
• Manage and maintain clothing-specific fit lists, ensuring actions and required amendments are accurately recorded and followed through.
• Complete and maintain relevant technical workbooks throughout the product development process.

Warehouse Operations & Quality Control

• Work closely with warehouse teams to coordinate and support large-scale product inspections.
• Identify quality issues and coordinate appropriate rework activities to ensure products meet required quality standards before release.
• Monitor inspection and rework outcomes and ensure actions are completed within agreed timelines.

Regulatory Compliance & Documentation

• Liaise with approved testing laboratories and authorised representatives to coordinate required product testing and compliance documentation.
• Manage and maintain EU Declarations of Conformity (DoC) and related regulatory records.
• Ensure required product documentation remains accurate, complete, current, and aligned with applicable legislation and company requirements.

Defect & Quality Management

• Monitor faulty and defective stock and maintain accurate quality and defect trackers.
• Analyse recurring defects and manufacturing issues to identify trends and potential root causes.
• Work with relevant internal teams and suppliers to implement corrective actions and reduce repeat quality issues.

Supplier Compliance & Corrective Actions

• Review and monitor supplier ethical, social, and product safety audit results.
• Follow up with suppliers on identified non-conformances and ensure corrective action plans (CAPs) are submitted and progressed within agreed timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier compliance activities and outstanding actions.
• Manage and maintain the monthly supplier manual library, ensuring the latest documentation, policies, and compliance requirements are available and up to date.

• Fit and measurement knowledge
• Quality inspection/defect knowledge

• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
• Strong documentation skills
• Supplier/internal stakeholder communication
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple products
