Assistant Production Engineer

About the role

This is a production operations role responsible for daily manufacturing operations, process optimization, and facility maintenance in a chemical production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform daily operations in accordance with standard operation procedures
• Make daily operation logs and perform container internal and external cleaning
• Conduct mixing and filling activities
• Perform chemical sampling and checks, sign on log sheets, and ensure proper filing
• Check and maintain scheduled preventive maintenance works
• Troubleshoot all production process problems
• Manage stock of safety PPEs, tools, and absorbent pads
• Provide guidance and training for new operators
• Monitor and maintain good practices and housekeeping in production areas

About you

• Chemical engineering degree preferred
• 1 year of experience
• MS Office, problem solving skills, SPC, and SAP knowledge
• Microsoft Access knowledge will be a plus
• Willing to learn and do ad-hoc works
