Assistant Production Manager

Job Summary:

The Assistant Production Manager looks is responsible for the production and quality control of electrolytes in the manufacturing process of electric batteries. This role ensures the quality of the electrolyte, which plays a crucial role in the performance and stability of the battery. This role also involves maintaining production schedule, raw material purchase, PSM respond and managing facilities/manufacturing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan the production volume, schedule, and raw material requirements for the electrolyte.
• Manage the manufacturing process of the electrolyte and seek ways to improve the efficiency and stability of the manufacturing process.
• Check the quality of the electrolyte and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Manage the storage, and usage of necessary raw materials.
• Continuously improve the production process of the electrolyte to increase production efficiency and improve product quality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• A deep understanding of the properties and manufacturing process of the electrolyte is required.
• Ability to evaluate and manage the quality of the electrolyte is required.
• Ability to quickly and effectively solve problems that may arise during the production process is required.
• Teamwork ability is important as you need to cooperate with various departments to perform the production and quality control of the electrolyte.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills – ability to work with employees at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Organized and adaptable – ability to multitask and manage priorities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
• Experience in battery manufacturing or related industries is preferred.
• Education and certification in quality control is preferred.
• Production/Quality related certification may be advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Working on the production floor/line.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators
