Assistant Production Manager

Role Overview: The Assistant Production Manager is responsible for leading team training, maintaining facility standards, ensuring safety compliance, and driving continuous process improvements in a fast-paced environment. They support the Production Manager by optimizing processes, achieving production targets, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while upholding quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Production Manager to lead process enhancements and operational improvements.
• Support and motivate team members to foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Ensure safety through regular inspections, training, and proactive initiatives.
• Oversee wastewater processes to enhance efficiency and environmental compliance.
• Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and equipment maintenance for seamless operations.
• Assist in developing production schedules aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate across departments to synchronize production with overall business objectives.
• Adapt strategies to changing conditions and support employee onboarding, retention, and offboarding.

Qualifications & Skills- Minimum 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

• High School diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of production management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience with strong team-building and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ISO standards and Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
