Assistant Production Manager (Egg House)

We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Assistant Production Manager (Egg House) in Rawang office to support the daily operations of our egg production facility. The role is responsible for ensuring production targets, egg quality standards, biosecurity compliance, and operational efficiency are consistently achieved. You will lead and develop operational teams, oversee resource utilization and equipment performance, monitor production reporting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily Egg House operations to ensure egg production targets are achieved consistently.
• Ensure egg quality standards are met by overseeing eggs grading, cleanliness, handling, and storage processes.
• Enforce biosecurity, hygiene, and disease prevention measures to safeguard eggs production facilities
• Lead and supervise Egg House supervisors, operators, and workers to ensure efficient manpower utilization.
• Monitor and optimize the use of resources, equipment, materials, and labor to improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and ensure the proper functioning of eggs house machineries, vicinities and hygiene meeting required standard
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety requirements, regulatory standards, and workplace safety practices.
• Prepare and analyze grading production output, daily stocks of eggs and packing material, and operational reports for management review.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Train, coach, and develop operational staff to strengthen team competency and performance.

Hiring Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Poultry Science, Farm Management, Veterinary Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in poultry farming or managing egg house production.

• Proven experience in supervising operational teams and managing workforce productivity.

• Familiar with production planning, problem-solving, resource optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Experience working with automated machinery, egg-house management systems is an added advantage.

• Able to respond to operational emergencies when needed.
