Assistant Professor - Computer Application

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified, and strong programming skill Assistant Professor in Computer Applications to teach MCA / BCA students and contribute to teaching, research, curriculum development, and academic activities of the Autonomous College.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach MCA / BCA courses in relevant areas of Computer Applications
• Prepare course materials, lesson plans, practicals, and assessments
• Guide students in projects, programming, and academic activities
• Conduct research and contribute to publications and conferences
• Participate in curriculum development, BoS, academic committees and Hackathons
• Organize workshops, seminars, FDPs, and industry interaction
• Support NBA, NAAC accreditation and institutional academic initiatives

Eligibility Criteria

• MCA / M.Tech / M.E. / Ph.D. in Computer Science / Computer Applications or relevant discipline
• Teaching / research experience preferred; freshers with strong academic background may apply

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Programming, Database, Web Technologies, and Computer Science fundamentals
• Knowledge of AI/ML, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, or emerging technologies
• Good teaching, communication, and student mentoring skills
• Research aptitude and academic writing skills
