What they need
Assistant Professor Pharmacognosy
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry, Herbal Drug Technology, and related subjects to B.Pharm/M.Pharm students.
- Conduct theory classes, practical sessions, tutorials, and laboratory demonstrations.
- Prepare lectures, study materials, question papers, assignments, and assessments.
- Guide students in academic projects, seminars, dissertations, and research activities.
- Conduct research in pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, medicinal plants, herbal formulations, and natural products.
- Publish research papers in reputed journals and participate in conferences/seminars.
- Maintain laboratory records, academic documentation, and student performance records.
- Participate in departmental, examination, accreditation, and other institutional activities.
Eligibility:
- M.Pharm/Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy/Phytochemistry or relevant specialization, as per applicable regulatory norms.
Experience: 2-4 years
