Assistant Program Director

Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that support individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Manage daily operations of programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance and professional growth.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and community partners to promote program visibility and engagement.
• Oversee budgeting processes and ensure responsible financial management of program resources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess needs and identify opportunities for program improvement and expansion.
• Maintain accurate administrative records related to program activities, staff performance, and client outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in management, preferably within the social services or behavioral health sectors.
• Strong background in program development and management, with a focus on serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Excellent relationship management skills, capable of building rapport with clients, families, and community partners.
• Administrative experience that includes budgeting and financial oversight.
• Supervising experience that demonstrates effective leadership abilities.
• A degree in social work or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.

Pay: $45,760.00 - $50,635.39 per year
